Eating Baby Goat (Cabrito)

Videos — By David on January 19, 2009

This week we bought Cabrito, which is baby goat. We grilled it for hours and it turned out really nice and tasty, definitely a meat that we will buy again.

  1. Laura says:

You couldn’t eat just regular goat could you? It had to be BABY goat.

  2. David says:

    Babies are much more delicious.

  3. Troy says:

that looks like a massive portion of meat for two little tacos. I hope you made some sort of delicious goat and noodle casserole with the left overs!

  4. nicole says:

Haha just more and more tacos actually–I think I shoved half the goat into one bite actually because it was so tasty

  5. gronzi says:

generally goat never tastes muttony. also you probably found this out by now, but after your basil flowers, it dies

  6. nicole says:

haha I didn’t know that about the basil actually–too depressing! Actually all of our plants are a bit pitiful–very unresponsive to moral support

  7. Grace says:

i don’t know if you already got a reply to this, but Flowering basil is BAAAAD, means it’ll get wimpy afterwords :( as for moral support, plants like death metal.
    it’s been proven.
“The greenhouses with the recordings of speech grew better than the control, regardless of whether such talk was kind or angry. The plants in the greenhouse with the recording of classical music grew better, while the plants in the greenhouse with the recording of intense death metal grew best of all despite somewhat dying, due to the fact that the battery died on one of the timers that was watering the plants.”
