Red Bananas

Red Banana Mousse
Its safe to say that those of you who aren’t banana lovers are vastly outnumbered by those of us who are. One of the advantages to having moved to a more tropical locale, is that we are now able to eat a much broader variety of them — bananas that is. This was our first ‘Red Banana’ experience and I’d be lying if I told you it was unlike all others. In fact, if you put it on some bread with peanut butter I would be hard pressed to distinguish it from your run of the mill supermarket yellow banana. This fact does not at all detract from its overall yumminess (as was previously stated, we like bananas) and I look forward to trying more varieties — including the ones currently growing on the tree in our backyard!

I tried red bananas for the first time a few month back and I am hooked! They have an almost cinnamon-like flavor to them!
Bryan thought bright green organic bananas were the way to go. He waited and waited and then cut into a dull green banana and it felt and tasted like wood. They are still on the counter and are not petrified but still green.
Are you sure dad didn’t buy a plantain??
I love banana! but I haven’t try red banana, never seen in Indonesia. Thanks for your info.
Wow, where to find this kind of banana? I don’t have in my country. I love bananas!
you made it yourself? Very interesting.
Red bananas are brilliant roasted in their jackets, slit open, then eaten gluttonously with a large spoon and some rich ice cream.
All right, that’s really interesting. I started out my world wide web search for bananas mainly because I wanted to locate a fantastic recipe for banana pie. Some how I came across your website. I am incredibly glad I took the time to read your page. Fascinating how the world wide web can move you around and help you to learn so easily. Thanks for the good insight. I
