I love boiled gizzards. Grilled sound very chewy but interesting.
MMMMmmm. Gizzards are the best part of the chicken. I’ve only had them fried, but those grilled ones look great.
We really like them! Definitely want to try cooking gizzards a bunch of different ways.

Hey guys,
Gizzards are very popular in the northeastern part of brazil. We normally eat it in a stew, after putting it for 25 minutes in a pressure cooker. It is soft and delicius afterwards, and you can have it with rice or, better, bread. If you want you may have a look here. http://monstronacozinha.blogspot.com/2008/08/no-boteco-do-mercado.html

I normally put my gizzard in an aluminum pan with a little water, season them with my favorite seasons and cover with aluminum foil. Grill for two hours or until tender and add Campbells’ cream of chicken and mushroom soup.
Looks totally tasty! Makes me want to get some yakitori ASAP.
…”we’re gonna have these big muscular jaws after eating these…”
hahaha, that was great commentary
I had these when I was little back home in Ukraine, my grandma would cook them along with chicken hearts and other chicken stuff that went into the broth.
you’re right about the chewy part!
Great blog,

In Austin there’s small gas station on Booker T Street that serves amazing fried gizzards with hot sauce. You have to brave a rough neighborhood, but it makes it seem so worth it.
